About the Journal

Journal of Islamic Thought and Contemporary Studies (JITCS) is a peer-reviewed academic journal published by the Faculty of Ushuluddin, Universitas Islam Cordoba. This journal provides a platform for scholarly contributions in the fields of Qur’anic and Hadith studies, as well as Islamic thought. 

It welcomes manuscripts that explore linguistic, literary, and thematic analyses of the Qur’an and Hadith; interpretative and exegetical studies; comparative discourse between Qur’anic and Hadith traditions and other religious texts; as well as methodological and interdisciplinary approaches to Islamic scriptures. Additionally, the journal accommodates discussions on Qur’an translation and the socio-cultural impact of Islamic texts in contemporary society. Scholars, researchers, lecturers, students, and enthusiasts of Qur’anic and Hadith studies are invited to submit their original academic works to be considered for publication.
