Call For Reviewer/Editor

Journal of Islamic Thought and Contemporary Studies is an academic journal dedicated to the study of Islamic thought, philosophy, theology, and contemporary issues related to Islam. We are currently seeking qualified and committed Reviewers and Editorial Board Members to join our team.

Position: Reviewer

Responsibilities:

·       Conduct double-blind peer reviews of submitted manuscripts in your area of expertise.

·       Provide constructive, fair, and timely feedback to improve the quality of submissions.

·       Maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical standards in the review process.

Requirements:

·       Holding at least a Master’s degree (Ph.D. preferred) in Islamic Studies, Philosophy, Religious Studies, or related disciplines.

·       Demonstrated expertise in Islamic thought, theology, or relevant fields.

·       Previous experience in academic publishing and peer review is an advantage.

·       Commitment to completing reviews within the journal’s timeline (2–4 weeks).

Position: Editorial Board Member

Responsibilities:

·       Support the editorial process, including reviewing submissions when needed.

·       Advise on journal policies, focus, and scope.

·       Promote the journal within academic networks and encourage high-quality submissions.

·       Uphold the academic integrity and ethical standards of the journal.

Requirements:

·       Ph.D. holder in Islamic Studies, Philosophy, or related disciplines.

·       Strong academic publication record in the relevant field.

·       Experience in academic editing and peer review.

·       Ability to work collaboratively with the editorial team.
