Author Guidelines
Submission Requirements
- Manuscripts must be original and not under review elsewhere.
- Submissions should be written in clear academic English.
- Manuscripts must be submitted electronically through the journal’s online submission system.
Manuscript Preparation
- Length: 5,000 to 8,000 words including references and notes.
- Format: A4 page, 12-point Cambria font, double-spaced, with 1-inch margins.
- Title Page: Include the manuscript title, author name(s), affiliation(s), contact information, and a brief author biography (50-100 words).
- Abstract: Provide an abstract of 150–250 words summarizing the article’s objectives and findings.
- Keywords: Include 4–6 keywords relevant to the manuscript.
- Template Journal of Islamic Thought and Contemporary Studies
Citation Style
- Use Chicago Manual of Style (Author-Date) for citations and references.
- Footnotes may be used for explanatory notes but not for citations.
- References must be complete and formatted consistently.
Peer Review Process
- All submissions undergo double-blind peer review.
- Reviewers assess originality, clarity, methodology, and relevance to Islamic thought.
- Authors may be requested to revise manuscripts based on reviewer feedback.
Ethical Guidelines
- Disclose any conflicts of interest.
- Properly acknowledge all sources to avoid plagiarism.
- Research involving human subjects must comply with ethical standards.
Copyright
- Accepted manuscripts transfer copyright to Journal of Islamic Thought and Contemporary Studies.
- Authors may reuse their work for academic purposes with appropriate citation.
- Permissions must be secured for any third-party content.

- The journal publishes two issues annually: June and December.
