Journal History
Journal of Islamic Thought and Contemporary Studies (JITCS) was established by the Faculty of Ushuluddin, Universitas Islam Cordoba Banyuwangi to provide a scholarly platform for the development of Islamic thought and contemporary studies. Since its inaugural issue in June 2025, JITCS has consistently published research that explores Qur’anic and Hadith studies, contemporary Islamic discourse, and the integration of classical Islamic scholarship with modern academic perspectives.
Publication History:
- Vol. 01 No. 01 (June 2025) – First issue of JITCS.
- Vol. 01 No. 02 (December 2025) – Second issue, continuing discussions on Islamic thought and contemporary challenges.
- Vol. 02 No. 01 (June 2026) – Expanded contributions addressing contemporary issues through Islamic perspectives and interdisciplinary approaches.
JITCS is published biannually and remains committed to promoting high-quality academic research that contributes to the advancement of Islamic studies in a global and contemporary context.
